Hi! I am Jason. This is a personal blog. That means I post according to my whims, so while I have some consistent likes, you should expect to see any random thing on this blog.
Frequent content: Faberry, Achele, also how much I hate Glee. Lately: obsessed with ouat, red beauty, sleeping warrior and confused as heck but intrigued by swan queen. basically my fandoms normally have this in common: lesbians
other topics: Buffy, hot womens, Bioware games, Skyrim, Adventure Time, cuttlefish, octopuses (of course!), science stuff, and whatever the heck else I want to put on my blog. :-P Just remember: be prepared for anything.

#it was an arranged marriage right #so what if they met for the first time and fergus was a total blushing stammering human disaster #and elinor was so terrified by the whole thing she just clung to her courtesies and hoped for the best #and that night at dinner elinor’s escort (who was kind of old and sleepy obvs) fell asleep and faceplanted into the soup #and they just looked at each other and burst out laughing #and all was well
WHY IS THIS SO ADORBS
but btw i love how brave unlike many disney movies addresses the arranged marriage problem like YEA this was a part of history and it’s ok

I’d correct “ride through the glen” with “sail the great sea”. Oh, and I don’t know how to shoot arrows.
But the meaning is the same.

When I saw Brave, I noticed that the Queen’s dress reminded me a lot of Sargent’s painting of Ellen Terry as Lady Macbeth. When I got home and looked up pictures of it, there was no doubt in my mind that it was inspired by the dress. It’s almost exact. Even her hair is the same.
The dress is currently being restored, which is a painstaking process due to the beetle wings on the dress. Even Queen Elinor’s dress had the beetle wing sparkles!
Oh, my gosh, YES! Wow, good catch!
